My 5 year old started Kindergarten this year. In the beginning of the year, he started reading at a level A. By Christmas he was at a level B, but continued to struggle. I am a Kindergarten teacher and I have a student with Asperger's Syndrome who was really struggling with reading. I called a meeting with the parents and we discussed the likelihood that he would not pass Kindergarten.
